For the fourth straight year, Ben Davis will be represented on the Indiana boys All-Star team. Senior Jashawn Ladd will represent the Giants on the all-star team this June. The announcement of the team was made early today.
Ladd, a College of Charleston commit, averaged 15.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.8 steals per game this past season for the Giants, who lost to Brownsburg in the opening round of the sectionals. Ladd, a 6-4 guard, shot 41.7% (30-for-72) from the 3-point line. He led the Giants in scoring as a junior, averaging 13.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists. He finished his career with 666 points, 165 rebounds, 142 assists, and 82 steals.
Ladd follows Mark Zackery, who made the all-star team last year; and KJ Windham, who was an all-star two years ago. Three yeas ago the Giants had Zane Doughty and Sheridan Sharp on the all-star team after Ben Davis went 33-0 to win the 2023 state title. Ladd is the 16th Giant to be named an Indiana all-star.
