Summer is the perfect time to explore Indianapolis and all its fun activities, like concerts and outdoors.

One of the most popular and known things to do is visit White River State Park in downtown Indy. You can walk along the water, rent kayaks or paddle boats, do a picnic – the possibilities are endless. 

Close to the river, there’s the Indianapolis Zoo, where you could go visit all different types of animals and shows. There’s also the Eiteljorg museum, every now and then they have themes like Day of the dead. 

And just across the street is Victory Field when the Indianapolis Indians host home baseball games.

Other actives you could do this summer is attend festivals and sporting events. The Indiana State Fair is coming in August, It’s one of the biggest fairs and they offer concerts, rides, food, and sightings.

On the other hand, sporting fans could watch baseball games or racing events in Indianapolis Motor Speedway and nearby Lucas Raceway Park..

Lastly, many artists are coming to Indiana like Post Malone, Jelly Roll, Kid Cudi, and more.
