Finals start tomorrow, and during this time, students are stressed by the weight of the final test on their grades.
We go to school from 8:30 to 3:20 every day and then have practice until 6:30. After practice, we finally get home around 7:00. Then we have chores to do and other things besides schoolwork and studying.
Now it is 10 pm, we are drained and have no time to study. Even in our very busy schedules, we can still make time for things that matter to us.
So here are some helpful and effective ways to study so you can pass your finals.
When studying, always preview the topic first, even if that is just previewing the vocab words or heading. Doing this helps your brain recognize important info faster.
After that make sure to ask questions about the material you are trying to re-learn. When taking notes and studying for finals make sure not to write every word down. Only focus on main things like definitions, formulas, dates, examples, and anything the teacher/instructor says more than once.
Always remember, if the teacher emphasizes something more than once then it is important.
Your note taking should be unique so make it the way you can read and understand. A lot of ways people do this is by abbreviating their notes to make fast, easy, and effective notes.
If you believe that you are confident in most of the material then only focus on writing down and studying the material that you struggle with. Doing this will give you a chance to lock in with the things you struggle with so you can ace the final.
And lastly, test yourself. Before any quiz, test, assessment, or final exam, always test yourself so you know what to or not study.
If you do all of these final preparations, then I have no doubt that you will pass every final. You got this.
