Indiana (3-0) defeated Michigan 38-21, the first win for the Hoosiers over the Wolverines in 33 years. Reese Taylor led Indiana with seven solo tackles, two for losses, including one sack. Michigan’s Chris Evans rushed three times for five yards and caught one pass for 23 yards. The Hoosiers are coached by former BD coach Tom Allen and are ranked No. 10 in this weeks college polls.

Esezi Otomewo started on the defensive line for Minnesota (1-2) in a 41-14 defeat of Illinois and had two solo tackles, two assisted tackles, and one quarterback hurry.

Dawand Jones played for Ohio State (3-0) in a 49-27 defeat of Rutgers.

Delbert Mimms saw action for North Carolina State (4-3) in a 44-41 loss to Miami.

MENS BASKETBALL

IU-East (0-2) lost 73-62 to Rochester and 98-78 to Huntington. Kyle Finch played nine minutes against Rochester and had three points (1 for 2, 1 for 2, 0 for 0), three rebounds, one blocked shot, and one turnover. The 6-6 junior played eight minutes against Huntington and had one point (0 for 1, 0 for 1, 1 for 2) and one assist.

Taylor (2-1) defeated Concordia 98-86 and Governors State 95-69 and lost 65-59 to Thomas More. Jeff Clayton played a total of 16 minutes the three games and had four points (2 for 2), six rebounds, one assist, one blocked shot, and one turnover.

Jalen Windham has transferred from Creighton to Ball State.
