For the Final Four, you have the NC State Wolfpack vs the Purdue Boilermakers Saturday with a 6:09 p.m. That is when most of the state’s hoop attention will be on Phoenix as the 2024 NCAA Final Four tips off.
After that, you have the Alabama Crimson Tide vs the UConn Huskies at 8:49 p.m.
The last time NC State made it to the final four was 1983. Then you have our Purdue Boilermakers being led by Zach Edey, which the last time they made it to the Final Four was 1980.
The Boilers went from last year being a No. 1 seed losing to the 16 seed, to now making the Final Four.
Edey led the Purdue Boilermakers to the #1 seed averaging 30.0 pts 16.3 reb 1.8 ast per game in March Madness. He is coming off of a stellar performance against Tennessee – 40 pts 16 reb.
This is the first time the Alabama Crimson Tide has ever made it to the final 4. UConn is the reigning champions.
