WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

 Shae Daniels is averaging 6.9 points. 9.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 2.0 steals, and 2.7 turnovers per game for Ancilla (8-1). She is shooting 34.8% from the field and 36.4% from the free throw line.

Jessie Kee has started eight of nine games for Kaskaskia (4-5) and averages 13.9 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 2.8 steals, and 2.6 turnovers per game. She is shooting 37.7% from the field, 19.1% from behind the three point line, and 56.3% on free throws.

Erynn Young has started each game for 12-0 Lincoln and averages 20.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 3.75 steals, 3.0 blocked shots, and 2.7 turnovers per game. She is shooting 50.2% from the field, 28.9% from three point range, and 57.1% from the free throw line.

Fort Wayne (3-7) lost 67-58 to Coastal   Carolina, defeated Eastern Illinois 97-77, and lost 60-48 to Milwaukee. Diamond Williams had seven points (3 for 6, 0 for 0, 1 for 3), 10 rebounds, one steal, and two turnovers in 29 minutes against Coastal Carolina; six points (2 for 2, 0 for 0, 2 for 4), six rebounds, and one blocked shot in 27 minutes against EIU; and 11 points (5 for 14, 0 for 0, 1 for 2), three rebounds, one steal, one blocked shot, and three turnovers against Milwaukee.

Tuskegee (1-8, 0-2) lost 61-57 to West Florida. Shelle Daniels had four points (1 for 8, 0 for 1, 2 for 2), six rebounds, one assist, three steals, and two turnovers in 19 minutes before fouling out.

MEN’S BASKETBALL

Kyle Finch has played in seven games for Lincoln Trail (4-6) and averages 4.9 points and 4.4 rebounds per game, while shooting 44.4% from the field and 58.8% from the free throw line.

Jalen Newsom has played in 10 games, starting one, for Wabash Valley (5-5) and averages 8.9 points and 1.4 rebounds per game, while shooting 38.4% from the field, 43.1% from the three point area, and 88.9% on free throws.

Millikin (5-3) lost 90-85 to Elmhurst and won 57-54 against Carroll. Mike Beaty had 17 points (8 for 15, 0 for 4, 1 for 1),one rebound, one steal, and two turnovers in 20 minutes against Elmhurst and did not play in the Carroll win.

WRESTLING

Marian won dual meets against Indiana Tech, Davenport, Hannibal-LaGrange, and Campbellsville. Levi Moss won by forfeit at 141 pounds against Hannibal and lost 12-8 to Tech, 9-4 to Davenport, and 10-5 to Campbellsville.

MEN’S TRACK AND FIELD

Competing for Indianapolis in the University of Indianapolis Season Opener, DeAndre Bluitt was third of 14 in the high jump (6-4 ¾); and Jordan Boyd was third of 14 in the shot put (49-9.6) and second of 16 in the weight throw (54-6.3). At the Indianapolis Winter Break Meet, Boyd was second of 24 in the shot put (50-2.4) and second of 19 in the weight throw (54-11.8).Bluitt won the high jump in a field of 16 with a height of 6-6 ¾.

 Franklin’s Nate Adams was fourth of 19 in the weight throw at the U. of I. Winter Break Meet with a toss of 51-3 ¾.

 Marian’s Aaron Murray was third of 23 in the 400 meters (51.34), and teammate Conde Moussa was a member of the Knights’ 4 X 400 relay which was second of eight at the U. of I. Winter Break Meet.

 Illinois State’s Jordan Wilkerson was 11th of 19 in the 60 meter dash (7.01) at the Eastern Illinois Early Bird Meet.

 WOMEN’S TRACK AND FIELD

 Indiana’s Maya Caudle placed 17th of 22 in the 60 meter dash (7.84) and fourth of six in the 200 (25.22) at the 2017 Hoosier Open.

 Ball State’s Maritza Rodriguez finished third of 14 in the 3000 meters in 10:34.84 at the Fort Wayne Mastodon Open.

 Competing in the University of Iowa Intrasquad Meet, Kyara Avant was third of six in the 300 meter dash (39.49).

 Central State runner Veronica Barnes, competing at the Grand Valley State Holiday Open, was a member of the relay team which placed 13th of 15 teams (4:13.29). At the Oiler Open at Findlay University, she was sixth of 13 in the 300 meters (45.01) and anchored the 4 X 400 relay team which finished second in a six team field (4:09.34).
