Boys soccer captures MIC
First conference title in school history
September 22, 2017
Junior Isaac Torres broke a 1-1 tie late in the second half Thursday night with a 30-yard shot that beat the North Central goalie. That goal gave Ben Davis its first-ever boys soccer conference championship with a 2-1 win over North Central.
The Giants end the regular season with a 11-1 record. Ben Davis opens the Marion County tournament Monday at home with a 5 p.m. game against Franklin Central. The girls play at 7 p.m. also against Franklin Central.
