Season outlook: boys soccer
Coach: Robert Lewis, the new head boys soccer coach, was both head JV and head freshman coach at Ben Davis from 2007-2009. He then worked with the girls team as JV head coach. He has a deep background in soccer and is ready to take the reins this upcoming season.
Last years record: 6-8-3
Last years season highlight: “The big highlight from last season would definitely be beating Pike 1-0 to go to the sectional finals.” junior Darrin Knorr said.
Key returning players: Seniors David Parra, Miguel Boyzo and junior Darrin Knorr.
The team plans to work together this year and focus on team unity as opposed to individual success.
