My favorite romance anime is definitely Lovely Complex.

 Lovely Complex consists of two redheads, where one is vertically challenged, and the other is just too tall. To me, this is already an amazing star of the show because the media shies away from unusual troops like this.

The show starts with them bickering like always because what else is a short man good for? They sort of have the enemies to love start the show with them barely being able to withstand each other, to them falling a fool for love.

The height difference was honestly never a problem to them, which I adored, and they didn’t let that get in the way of their relationship.

Also, to mention, I know this anime took place in the 2000’s, but may I just say their outfits were top-notch, stylish, and very aesthetically pleasing. He was the kind of guy to hide his feelings, and so she would tease him about it, while she was pretty transparent, so it was even easier for him to tease her.

I noticed that I didn’t mention that the girl is the taller one and the guy is the shorter one; regardless, they are still a cute, realistic, and well-written couple.
