As the senior class gets ready to graduate, many underclassmen are thinking about the impact seniors have had on the school. From school spirit to leadership in sports, arts, and clubs, seniors have set examples that younger students will remember long after this year ends.
Freshman Ava says, “What I learned from seniors is to not be scared to put yourself out there,” freshman Ava said. “A lot of seniors were really welcoming and helped me feel comfortable during my first year of high school.”
Ava said she plans to carry on their positive energy by getting more involved in school activities and helping future freshmen feel included.
Sophomore Jaylen says, “Seniors taught me that high school goes by really fast, so you should actually enjoy it. They always made games, spirit weeks, and events more exciting. Jaylen said he hopes to carry on the traditions seniors started by keeping school spirit alive and making memories with friends.
Junior Adnan Mohamed says, “One thing I learned from seniors is how to see like a photographer and move like a videographer.” Adnan also said he’ll carry their traditions by teaching the next upcoming photographer/ videographer what he taught me and even more.
As graduation gets closer, underclassmen are realizing how much the senior class has meant to the school. Their leadership, energy, and memories will continue to inspire future classes even after they leave.
