Graduation coordinator Rex Haviland has a message for the Class of 2014.

“Every year we have students who wait until the last minute to order (caps and gowns) and end up paying almost three times as much for the cap and gown after late fees are added to the cost,” Haviland said.

With that in mind, Haviland wants all seniors to pay attention to ordering days next week. Representatives from Herff Jones will be here next Wednesday and Thursday to accept graduation orders. Seniors with last names A-M should place orders Wednesday during lunch periods or after school (until 7 p.m.) and seniors last name N-Z should place orders on Thursday.

“Every graduate must purchase a cap and gown to participate in the graduation ceremony,” Haviland said. “Spring is also the time of prom and other graduation expenses.  Make sure you get your supplies at the best price possible and order during the November ordering time.”
