On every first Friday of the month, downtown Indianapolis holds an event for the arts.
Varying from music, to sculptures, to paintings and jewelry, First Friday is a wonderful experience to meet new people and admire local artists.
Located in multiple areas downtown like Fountain Square, the Circle City Industrial Complex, and the Stutz Artists’ Studios, it is not a long drive from Ben Davis. In the summer they hold a mini concert on the rooftop with a beautiful view of the city and games for children.
Every month you can expect something different. In the gymnasium, they often hold markets or live bands, or games of all sorts. Recently, they just reopened the artmix studio after Covid shut them down. It is a great opportunity to bond while making your own arts and crafts.
