Science Claus is coming to town
Crosslin is back with his annual science event
December 4, 2019
For the past three holiday seasons, Rick Crosslin has hosted a science event called Science Claus.
It focuses mainly on different types of sciences and experiments. It is meant to entertain and inform the audience about the different fields of science. The event is on December 7 at 6 p.m. There is expected to be a large turnout, so come early.
Keith Ramsey, another science teacher in the district, helps out with the event as well.
“Last year, it was standing room only – with people literally sitting on the floor, in the isles,” Ramsey said.
The main two areas being focused on this year are chemistry and physics. The teachers will be “including acts that feature pyrotechnics & liquid nitrogen.”
It is a free event that is being sponsored by the Wayne Township Education Foundation, Indianapolis Airport Authority, Indiana University of Health, and the American Chemical Society of Indiana.
