Evans helps Michigan win

Michigan (2-3) defeated Rutgers 48-42 in triple overtime. Chris Evans caught four passes for 30 yards  for the Wolverines and carried the ball once for four yards.

Starting defensive lineman Esezi Otomewo had one solo tackle, one assisted tackle, and one quarterback hurry for Minnesota (2-3) in a 34-31 defeat of Purdue.

Indiana (4-1) lost 42-35 to Ohio State, The Hoosiers’ Reese Taylor had three solo tackles, broke up two passes, and returned two punts for 16 and six yards. Dawand Jones saw action for the Buckeyes. Former BD coach Tom Allen coaches the Hoosiers.

Delbert Mimms saw action for North Carolina State (6-3) in a 15-14 defeat of nationally ranked and previously undefeated Liberty.


 Taylor (3-2) lost 88-74 to Indiana Tech and won 91-88 against Grace. Jeff Clayton had two points (1 for 4), one rebound, and one assist in 11 minutes against Tech and missed one shot in four minutes against Grace.
