As of 2026, the tardy policy at BD has changed. The new policy eliminates the need for the former pocket tracker system and allows students to enter classrooms instead of searching for a working pocket tracker machine.
The way the tardy policy works is if you are late to class all you’d have to do is show up to class as normal and there will be a sign in sheet where you’ll fill out the period that you’re late to,your last name, and your first name. Each classroom should have a sign-in sheet.
There will be an area for teacher notes in case you are late 10 min or more, which means you will be given a class cut and will need to meet with a dean.
If you are late to school during first period, you are still required to enter Door 1 and receive a tardy to school pass from the front office.
