What caught everyone’s eyes with the school change was our cafeteria. And the renovations, including the cafeteria expanding.

With the cafeteria expanding, more lunch lines were created. To go along with the changes new tables and chairs were added. These tables were personalized for our school with our logo.

Although all of this sounds like a major change, the major change was changing to three lunch periods when originally we had five. This major change was not just going to affect the students, but also our school lunch ladies. 

Some members of the school who we thank for preparing our food and attending us include Tamaria, Breshae, and Alyssia, all who are grateful for this change. They enjoy the fact that they have more of an ability to interact with students. 

Alyssia said “Especially since we’re closer to your guy’s age, we’re able to interact.” 

It also gave them more time. Everyone needs more time even if you don’t think you need it. They mentioned it has given them more time to clean afterwards, make sure the food is ready on time, and most importantly make sure the student gets their food on time to have time to eat.
