How to stay safe this fall

How+to+stay+safe+this+fall

It’s finally starting to feel like fall – time for pumpkin patches, haunted houses, and scary movies.

One of the best things to do during fall is get with your friends and go out, go to the cool places that are only open during fall. Now sadly times are a little different than they used to be. Crime rate has never been higher. This isn’t going to stop anyone from going out though that’s for sure.

Going out you have to make sure you’re safe. You want to enjoy your day without worrying about anything, and there are simple ways to do that.

One way is  by always going in a group of people, that’s so easy. You’re most likely doing that anyways. Having a bigger group it’s harder to get lost or even go missing. You also have people around you at all moments, so if you need help it’s easy to get that attention.  Your friends are always there for you, even in the ways you may not think about. Even when going to the bathroom make sure at least one friend comes with you, yall can walk together and wait for each other.

There are obviously times where you are alone, like maybe going to the destination or going home. You should always make sure someone knows your leaving, and maybe even the timestamps of when you’re going and should be back. Your phone also plays a big part of this role. You can share your location with someone, they can check up on you and make sure you’re okay.

Stay away from dark or sketchy places. This precaution is somewhat obvious, this just helps over all. Being in a safe environment is easy. Getting in just better lighting helps, seeing your surroundings. Your better taking those routes then anything, just looking out for yourself.

These safety tips may be obvious to you, but they help more than you think. Small things can save your life. It may be more dangerous than it used to be, but that shouldn’t prevent people from living their life. Make sure you and your friends look out for each other, it’s the most important thing going out.
