Pirtle receives prestigious scholarship

Senior Tamara Pirtle has received the University of Indianapolis’ Richard G. Lugar Scholarship. The award totals $19,000, and is one of the university’s most prestigious scholarships.
Pirtle has been admitted with distinction to UIndy, majoring in biology. She is also eligible to apply for a Presidential Scholarship at the school, as well as acceptance to the school’s Ron & Laura Strain Honors College.
