Tyler, The Creator was named Apple Music’s Artist of the Year for 2025, which means he was one of the most streamed and talked about artists on the entire platform this year.
Apple Music announced that fans around the world streamed his music for more than 4.5 billion minutes between November 2024 and October 2025, which is a huge amount and the most he’s ever had in his career so far.
At the start of the year, Tyler went on his biggest tour to support his album CHROMAKOPIA which was really personal and creative, and it broke records for him on Apple Music. Then, while still on tour, he surprised everyone by making and releasing another album called DON’T TAP THE GLASS, and it went to number one on the Apple Music charts in more than 55 countries the day it came out.
People liked Tyler’s music a lot because it was unique and different, and many of his songs were played again and again by fans all over the world. Apple even made special playlists for listeners to celebrate his music this year. Being named Artist of the Year shows that his creativity and hard work paid off.
