The Terminal is a movie about a guy named Viktor Navorski who gets stuck living inside an airport. When he lands in New York, he finds out his country had a big political disaster, and now his passport doesn’t work anymore. Because of that he can’t go home and he can’t enter the U.S. so he’s basically trapped.
What I liked about the movie is how Viktor – played by Tom Haynks – handles everything. Most people would freak out but he stays calm and tries to handle his situation the best he can. He makes friends with the workers, finds ways to get food, and even tries to help other travelers.
anks plays him in a way that makes you feel bad for him, but also surprised by how he keeps going.
Some people are nice to him, and some are not. The airport’s boss is pretty rude and keeps trying to push Viktor around just because he doesn’t fit into their rules. But Viktor never gets rude or gives up. That part made the story feel real because life isn’t always fair but how you act still matters.
Overall, The Terminal is a good movie in my opinion because it has a mix of funny moments with the emotional ones. It’s about being stuck in a hard situation but still staying kind, hopeful, and peaceful. It’s not an action movie or anything crazy like that but it has a lot of heart and makes you think about how you treat people.
