9 is an animated post-apocalyptic movie about a small burlap doll creature named 9 who wakes up in a ruined world with no idea what happened. He then soon discovers that there are others like him all made by a scientist to protect the last bit of humanity left.
But the world is full of dangerous machines that hunt them so, 9 and the others have to figure out how to survive and stop the threat.
What I liked about the movie is how unique it looks.
The whole world is dirty, broken, and empty, but the animation makes it feel real and interesting. All the characters look similar but still have their own personalities. 9 is curious and brave, while others like 1 and 7 have completely different attitudes.
The movie is also pretty intense. The machines are creepy and the action scenes can get dark, but that’s part of what makes the movie exciting. Every time 9 and his friends run into danger, it keeps you watching because you honestly don’t know what’s going to happen next.
One thing I think the movie could have done better is explain more about the world. Sometimes it felt like things move too fast or don’t give enough detail, but it was still easy to follow the main idea. The music and animation help make up for the parts that felt rushed.
Overall, I think 9 is a cool and original movie that mixes action, mystery, and emotion. It’s a little dark, but it’s creative and has your attention the whole time. I’d recommend it to anyone who likes animated movies that are more serious and have a deeper message.
