Goatlord was a Black/Death/Doom metal band from Las Vegas Nevada. They formed in 1985 and split up in 1997.
They planned to re-unite for a show in 2014 for the Nuclear War Now! Festival in Germany but cancelled their plans because their drummer Jeff Nardone was afraid of flying. I’ve chosen to review their 2007 compilation album The Last Sodomy of Mary, the compilation was released on January 16th, 2007 on Nuclear War Now! Records.
This compilation ended up being The last nail in the coffin for Goatlord. Old rehearsals of what was supposed to become the second full length album, which had only been released in bootleg form until the release. The lineup for this album has Jeff Schwob on Bass, Jeff Nardone on Drums, Joe Frankulin on Guitars, and Chris Gans on Vocals.

Tracks 3, 4 and 5 on the bonus disc were recorded live in Tucson, Arizona.
Goatlord has never re-united since their plans too in 2014, the main reason for this is that their main guitarist Joe Frankulin, on October 2nd, 2015, gunned down his neighbor abducted her eight year old son, and murdered him too, shortly after he committed suicide by gunshot.
