‘With great power comes great responsibility’

From the big screen to even your television screen, Disney’s Marvel franchise started with phase one of The “Infinity Saga”, in 2008, premiering Iron Man which eventually led into The Avengers in 2012.

Phase two of the MCU saga is Iron Man 3 which leads all the way into Ant-Man which released in 2015. Then phase three was Captain America: Civil War in 2016 all the way to Spider-Man: Far From Home that released in 2019 which completed The “Infinity Saga.” It did not just end yet.

If you have not watched Avengers: EndGame then this is a spoiler — we lost a few of the earth’s mightiest heroes such as BlackWidow, Tony Stark, and etc. Losing Tony Stark, changed the whole ball park, leaving the stark industry to who?

It’s left upon Peter Parker. At the end of Spider-Man: Far From Home, Peter Parker’s identity gets revealed by his enemy Mysterio, leaving the end of the movie on a cliffhanger.

Spider-Man: No Way Home which will be released on December 17, 2021 is the events that occur after Peter Parker gets his identity exposed. In the trailer, it shows Doctor Strange who deals with time travel and seems willingly to help Peter even though it’s a high risk that something could go wrong especially when messing with time, and it seems like Peter Parker has to figure a way to make everyone forget that it’s him who is Spider-Man.

Also, since we are currently in phase 4 of the MCU, there are speculations that there is going to be a series on Disney Plus called IronHeart, which follows a young African-American teen girl who makes her own suit, identical to IronMan’s suit. This is great in many ways for young audiences, especially for young women and people of color, it provides more variety for a wider audience.

With the release of the series Wandavision, Loki, and Falcon and Winter Soldier on Disney plus, the shows now take place in phase 4, which is leading into the “Secret Wars” which does not take place on earth anymore. The “Infinity Saga”  all started with the earth’s mightiest heroes, trying to protect earth, little did they know, there is a bigger threat out there in space. “Secret Wars” deals more with multi-dimensional travel and space, except there is going to be someone stronger than just Thanos.

The next movies to be released in phase four, is Eternals (2021), Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022), Thor: Love and Thunder (2022), Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022), The Marvels (2022), Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023), Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023), and Fantastic Four (in the development process) so get your popcorn and drink ready because we got a long way to go.
