The girls golf team shot a season high score of 196 against Bishop Chatard last Wednesday. Makenzie Sheehan led the giants with a score of 42. Savannah Ansert, Sarah Ansert, and Mariah Council all broke personal records for the Giants. Sectionals will start at noon Saturday.

GIRLS SOCCER

The girls soccer team had a 1-1-1 week. Last night the Lady Giants earned a 6-2 win over Warren. Ben Davis will face off at North Central tomorrow and at Decatur next Monday night.

BOYS SOCCER

The boys soccer team went 0-1-3 in their last week of games, after having a scoreless draw at Warren last night. BD will host Brownsburg on Thursday night.

BOYS CROSS COUNTRY

The boys cross country squad placed 4th out of 18 teams in the Ben Davis Invitational last Saturday. The Giants will race at Avon this Saturday.

VOLLEYBALL

After losing in three sets to Carmel last Tuesday, the volleyball team bounced back with a three set win of their own over Arsenal Tech. The Lady Giants will travel to play North Central tonight before having a week off before games.

FOOTBALL

The football team lost 35-12 against the number 1 ranked Center Grove Trojans last Friday. Keoke Toomer had a pick 6 and Chris Patterson connected on a 66 yard touchdown to Rylen Richardson for the Giants 12 points. Ben Davis will travel to Warren Central for the Circle City Showdown on Friday night.

BOYS TENNIS

The boys tennis team lost 5-0 against Plainfield, Perry, and Mooresville respectively last week. The Giants will host Roncalli tonight before heading to Avon tomorrow. They will then play in the MIC Tournament on Thursday evening and Saturday morning.

FLAG FOOTBALL

The Giants opened with a split of two games at Carmel. They host senior night on September 23.
