Ben Davis had an outstanding day on the mat on Saturday at Mooresville for Regionals. Out of 20 teams, the Giants placed third, scoring 96 points. They trailed only Avon with 137.5 points and Brownsburg with 102 points.

Six Ben Davis wrestlers will be advancing to Semi-State this weekend. They are as follows:

James Pritchett: 120-pound class (finished third at Regionals)

Jaylen Roth: 132-pound class (finished third at Regionals)

Nick Weddle: 138-pound class (finished first at Regionals)

Dylan Lydy: 170-pound class (finished first at Regionals)

Kasha Wilder: 220-pound class (finished second at Regionals)

Norman Oglesby: 285-pound class (finished first at Regionals)

Semi-State takes place at Evansville Reitz this Saturday morning. The top four place winners from each weight class advance to the state championship.
