Homecoming, spirit week themes announced

It is just around the corner — our annual homecoming/spirit week festivities.

The theme for this year’s homecoming dance is Hollywood. The dance is scheduled for Sept. 27 in the commons starting at 7 p.m. Tickets will go on sale next week (listen to announcements or watch your Twitter feeds for details).

The week heading into homecoming (Sept. 22-26) has been declared Spirit Week. Dress up themes are:

Monday- Favorite Character Day (movie, tv, book, etc..)

Tuesday- Crazy Socks Day

Wednesday- College Day

Thursday- Throwback Thursday

Friday- Purple Pride

That week also will be College Go Week and our first pep rally of the year is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 26. Our football team plays Lawrence North in the Sept. 26 homecoming game.
