Coach’s season outlook: “With a different coaching staff, we’re coming into the season with high hopes and a renewed sense of unity as a program. We have a great group of seniors that are ready to take over the program and lead us through a successful season.”

Key games: August 20 at Brownburg. “This will set the tone for the rest of the season,” Van Wyk said. The first home game is August 22 against Plainfield but Van Wyk has circled a home game September 9 against Pike. “We lost to them in a close game last year in sectionals so we’re looking for redemption,” he said.
