Boys improve to 10-0

The boys basketball team improved to 10-0 heading into the holiday break after a 75-59 win at Lawrence Central Wednesday night.
The Giants were minus starting center Zane Doughty and starting guard KJ Windham, both who are expected to be back in time for next Friday’s Hall of Fame Classic at New Castle. The Giants play No. 10 Penn at 1 p.m. on Dec. 30 and will play in either the 6 p.m. consolation game or 8 p.m. championship as well.
After the Hall of Fame Classic, the boys travel to North Central on Jan. 6 and host George Washington on Jan. 7.
The girls team lost 59-58 to Roncalli Wednesday night on a last second shot. The girls fall to 10-5 and host Cathedral Dec. 29 before traveling to Noblesville Jan. 3 and North Central Jan. 6.
The only other Ben Davis sports action over break is a Holiday Classic wrestling meet Dec. 28 at Mooresville.
