Our Ben Davis wrestling teams begins the second semester with a home match Tuesday night against Center Grove. The match begins at 6 p.m. in the main gym.

And don’t look now, but our boys basketball team is riding a six-game win streak as it prepares to host North Central in the second game of a boys-girls double-header this Friday. The boys last played on Dec. 22 and ran past Lawrence Central 85-48 to improve to 6-2 overall and 3-0 in the Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference. The Giants have a half game lead over Carmel in the MIC standings.

North Central also is 6-2 heading into Friday’s showdown.

The girls begin Friday’s action with a 6 p.m. tipoff against North Central. The lady Giants are 10-5 overall and 1-2 in the conference while North Central brings in a 13-4 overall record and is 4-0 in the conference.

Our swim teams participate in the MIC meet Saturday and our bowling teams participate in sectional action this Saturday at Woodland Bowl.
