Coach’s season outlook: “With five returning lettermen and the possibility of having seniors at six of the seven varsity positions, the Giants aim to improve on last year’s 14-7 season.

“Ben Davis hopes to defend their sectional championship and improve their placing in the MIC tournament. For this year only the MIC will include the eight teams that have been in the conference all along with the addition of Pike and Lawrence Central. The key to the success of this coming season will be the amount of time spent playing in the offseason.”

Season debut: August 19 at Pike. Home opener is August 22 against Bishop Chatard.
