Ben Davis softball team wins Spring Classic
The girls varsity softball team won their own Ben Davis classic over the weekend, winning all three of their tournament games. BD defeated Twin Lakes by a score of 7-6, Lawrence Central by a score of 2-1 and East Central by a score of 4-3. Perry Meridian also finished 3-0 in the Classic, but Ben Davis won the tiebreaker of runs allowed (10 to Perry’s 11). This is BD’s first Classic win since 2010, and the girls are now 5-6 on the season with a home game against Cardinal Ritter tonight. (Photos courtesy of Gail Moulder Houk).
