It’s such a perfect time to find a cozy spot in your home and watch a few holiday movies. Of course, for me, I think holiday movies are appropriate to watch year-round. I´m here to recommend 15 of the best holiday movies. These movies vary between romantic comedies, dramas, and family movies.

Holidate

Emma Roberts stars in this movie and her character plays a very relatable role. A romantic comedy like this will have you laughing and crying.

Love Hard

Nina Dobrev (better known as Elena Gilbert from TVD) and Darren Barnet (AKA Paxton Hall Yoshida from NHIE) play silly love interests. Their relationship unwinds in a funny way.

The Princess Switch

A fun and cozy trilogy starring Vanessa Hudgens, she plays multiple roles meaning we get to see various versions of her during the holidays.

Just Friends

Short clips of this movie are seen all throughout social media highlighting the more fun parts of this movie rather than the lovey parts. You´re in for an emotional roller coaster alongside Ryan Reynolds.

Elf

Will Farrell plays a loveable elf who travels from the north pole to New York City to meet his dad. He ends up saving Christmas.

Bad Santa

Although a dark comedy, you are surely in for a ride of some good laughs. Will Santa and his Elf be nice or naughty this year? Watch to find out.

A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas

Harold and Kumar are the classic best friend duo. They get into some pretty wacky adventures when they’re together.

Friday After Next

Mike Epps and Ice Cube are the ultimate duos, in this movie they experience a turn of events right before Christmas. In order to save their holidays, they must learn some life lessons along the way.

Love Actually

Nine stories unwind in this 2003 film to show what love means to us as individuals with all different relationships and friendships.

The Grinch

Everyone knows The Grinch, but if you don’t I highly suggest watching it because it’s full of love, good feelings, and comedy. Watch How The Grinch Stole Christmas (live-action) or The Grinch ( animated ).

Home Alone

Home Alone is my favorite holiday movie. It’s definitely a classic and a very nostalgic film. Tap in to watch Home Alone 2.

The Polar Express

The Polar Express was a must-watch during the last day of school before winter break in elementary school. Although we all know the story it could be fun to rewatch to relive some memories.

The Nightmare Before Christmas

Another silly creature (Jack Skellington) tries to steal Christmas but this time for a good cause to bring joy and happiness to his own town.

Miracle On 34th Street

A world of discoveries and realizations occurs with a true Santa Claus alongside a young believer in the Christmas spirit.

Are We There Yet

It could be debatable whether this is a Christmas movie, but I think it is based on all the joy and holiday spirit shown. Of course, a happy ending is always a plus!

Enjoy your holidays with these 15 movies. Get cozy and get snuggly.
