For the first time in 22 years, Ben Davis wrestling has a state champion in senior Dylan Lydy.

Saturday night Lydy won an exciting overtime match to claim the title at 170 pounds.

Lydy finished his senior season undefeated at 46-0, setting another school record for most wins in a season.

He was also named to the Senior Academic All-State 1st team.

Senior Norman Oglesby finished his amazing season & career with a third  place finish at State.

Oglesby and Lydy helped the team to place 10th out of 116 teams.

Senior Kasha Wilder lost a close overtime match Friday night to close out his season.

Jeremy Clevenger was named to the Junior Academic All-State 1st team.
