The Class 4A No. 2 rated Ben Davis boys basketball team survived a scare at Southport Wednesday night before surviving a 55-52 overtime win.
Senior Zane Doughty grabbed 15 rebounds, giving him 547 career rebounds, good enough for second place on the career school rebounding list.
The boys (3-0) have their home debut Friday against Pike before playing Saturday at 6:30 p.m. against Kokomo in the Sneakers for Santa Shootout.
Our girls team travels to Warsaw Friday while our wrestlers hosts Danville tonight at 6 p.m. in the main gym and our boys and girls swim team hosts Pike tonight at 6 p.m.
