Deportation is a big deal, and it is affecting way more than just the people being sent away. People are leaving behind their families, jobs, careers, everything that they know and are used to.
Most people left their homeland because the lifestyle there probably wasn’t good and they wanted a change but now they are being forced to go back to it. Imagine growing up with both your mom and dad, and then suddenly one day they’re gone because they sent you back to your homeland.
It leaves their children feeling lost, scared, lonely, abandoned, and struggling to keep their lives together especially if you’re young. Families should be able to stay together, not torn apart.
Deportation breaks up families. Deportation also is hurting the economy. Most people who are getting deported have jobs that help businesses and communities. When they are forced to leave, businesses lose workers, and the economy definitely takes a hit.
The government is spending too much money on deportation instead of using it for things like schools and healthcare, which are actually beneficial. It all affects the countries that people are being sent back to. People are getting deported back to a place that they haven’t lived in for years, and now they are going to struggle trying to survive there.
Those places might not have jobs, safety, or resources for them, making their lives harder when it was all easy when they were in the U.S. This deportation isn’t affecting just one person, it’s causing conflict all around as a nation.
Instead of kicking people out, we should focus more on finding better solutions that keep families together, support communities and love everyone equally.
