Something that helps me get through a bad week is dance. I love to dance at my gym with my team. It clears my head space, and it makes me forget about the things I’m worrying or stressing about. Finding things that make your life a little less hard can help you in ways you wouldn’t be able to imagine.
Not everyone has the same habits to get through a bad week.
Junior Korina Morales likes to go home, turn on music and take a long nap. She says it makes her feel more motivated when she wakes up because she has more energy and isn’t as drained as she was from the long day she had.
Senior Hayley Hart loves to listen to calm music and or sleep as well to get through her bad week. She says it’s soothing to her and it’s relaxing. The older you get the harder the days become. Growing up and having a lot to do throughout the week non-stop can cause most people to be tired and or drained.
Some people have bad weeks and want to be left alone. School is something that can be a draining place. Social batteries are bound to die by the end of the day to some.
As for junior Derrick Jones, he likes to drive around in his car and go on long rides in his car. He says it’s relaxing to him and it’s a great way for him to clear his head and get back in the right headspace.
Senior Gavin Thornton uses weights as a habit to get through a rough week. He says it’s a stress reliever to him. It also clears his mind.
As for senior Dionna Thornton, she says she likes to journal. She journals what’s on her mind and it helps her not have so much built up things inside.
Senior Mykei Abron likes to study, she says it helps her focus on other things. She says it keeps her mind calm.
Senior Youssouf Sy says he likes to go home and play the game. He says it helps him focus on nothing and not have to worry about nothing but the game.
As you can see from some seniors and juniors that everyone has different habits and techniques when it comes down to having a rough week. Make sure you always are kind, and check up on the people you love.
