Hey! My name is Perla Mata. I was born and raised in Texas and I am a senior at Ben Davis. This is my first year on Spotlight. I joined spotlight because I like being up to date with our world and being able to update others about what’s happening in our world today! I also like trying out new things. I am on the Ben Davis Marching Band and our varsity Winter Guard. Whenever I’m not at practice, I love being around my friends or being outside and being as active as I can be in my spare time. I plan on going to Indiana University in Bloomington to get my Bachelors for Nursing.
