Fall sports start busy schedule

The Ben Davis cross country team hosted a Hokum Karem Saturday with Roncalli and Lutheran that jump-started the 2021-22 athletic season.
The girls golf team also hosted its annual invitational this past Saturday and all other fall sports kick into high gear this week.
In soccer, our boys team hosts Perry Meridian Tuesday with the game being played n the main football field due to the resodding of the soccer field. The boys started the season Saturday with a 4-1 loss to West Lafayette Harrison. Our girls soccer team opened the season Saturday against Southport and they host Speedway Saturday at 2 p.m.
The girls volleyball team plays at Brownsburg Tuesday, at Ritter Thursday and at Plainfield Saturday before opening the hoime season August 23 against Lawrence Central.
Our boys tennis team opens the season tonight at Pike and has its first home game Thursday against Bishop Chatard. The photo gallery includes games from last week.
