It is very important and helpful to give to charity. The United Nations General Assembly established September 5th as International Day of Charity with the objective of sensitizing and mobilizing people and stakeholders all around the world to to help others through volunteer and philanthropic activities.
Charity day encourages organizations and individuals to help others. The day also emphasizes increasing solidarity and promoting social responsibility. It serves as a reminder to individuals and organizations alike to engage in acts of kindness, compassion, and giving back to society. Charity is that pure love which our Savior Jesus Christ has.
The International Day of Charity encourages people to contribute to making the world a better place by supporting various charitable causes. A charitable donation is a gift of cash or property made to a nonprofit organization to help it accomplish its goals, for which the donor receives nothing of value in return.
Charity is often seen as an act of giving or helping someone in need. The main objectives of charity organizations typically revolve around helping those alleviating, suffering, promoting social justice, and making positive changes in communities. In today’s use, however, it also means the organization that revolves around regulating contributions from others to help the needy. A charity needs people to run it. All charities must have charity trustees; some charities have members, staff and/or volunteers. Charity trustees are the people in overall control and management of a charity. Aside from the psychological and emotional benefits of donating to charity, there are also financial benefits to giving.

Hey my name is Destiny. I am a sophomore and this will be my first year in Spotlight. I choose to take this class because I heard a lot of good things about it and I like to do a lot of writing. In my free time I like to do nails and hang out with my friends. I am very interested to see what my upcoming year in Spotlight is going to be like.
