More than 15 colleges will be on hand Friday during lunch periods offering free college application services to seniors. The schools will be located in the hallway outside the main gym and some may extend into the upstairs gym. Announcements will be made Friday during Impact and during lunch periods on where the colleges will be located.

Here are some tips from college counselor YA Perez on how to take advanatge of this opportunity:

College Application Day Guidelines for Students

• Dress to impress. Because several attending institutions will be offering onsite admission, be sure to make a good first impression.
• Advance planning will be key to your success. The event becomes very congested during Application Day. Take some time before Friday to research the colleges that will be attending the fair. You will not have time to visit with all of the colleges in attendance.
• Apply to one college during College Application Day!
• Visit the application station to complete an application.
• Go Back to Class! College Application Day is held during lunches. Students are expected to return to class after their lunch is over.
