Keeping yourself healthy during the fall is important. There are a lot of things you can do to help keep your body healthy in the fall.
During the fall there is a lot of sicknesses going around the air. Due to temperature drops your immune system gets weaker, which increases the risk of getting sick. To help prevent common colds make sure you wash your hands, cover coughs, and distance yourself from people who are sick.
Keeping a good diet during the fall will also help you stay healthy. You could find a diet that works for you including things like vegtables, frutis, and whole grains to build up your immune system. There are also seasonal foods that you could include in your diet like apples, pumpkins, squash, etc.
Another important thing to keep you healthy in the fall is dressing appropriately. In the fall the air starts to get warmer so dressing for the occasion is important. Not dressing for the weather could lead you to getting sick.
It also is important to stay active. Even if you don’t play a fall sport you could take a walk, run, jog, or participate in outdoor activities to keep your body active.
Lastly, you should make sure you are getting the right amount of sleep that you need. You should be aiming for 8-10 hours of sleep per night. Getting the right amount of sleep will help keep your body health.
