Making smart food choices can really make a difference. Here are five healthy and delicious alternatives to the honeybun.

This is a breakfast that tastes like desert. Delicious yogurt, mixed with fresh strawberries and blueberries, top with nuts is a great breakfast if you wake up with a sweet tooth.
- Multigrain Blueberry Waffles
These waffles are the same as any other but they are healthier for your heart. They are high in fiber and low in fat and are a perfect breakfast for anyone. You can top them off with a little bit of syrup and add delicioys strawberries to go with them.
- Berry Breakfast Smoothie
Blend some bananas, strawberries, blue berries, and peanut butter to get a delicious breakfast smoothie. It is a good source of fiber and protein and sure to wake you up.
- Berry Wafflewich
Make a regular waffle but instead of drowning it in syrup, spread some peanut butter on it. Add some blueberries on it and squeeze it together lightly, think of it as a waffle taco.

This light pancakes will fill you up and aren’t very fattening. Adding oatmeal to the batter will add more fiber and make it a healthier breakfast choice.
