Things to do during the cold weather

We all know that Indiana weather is constantly changing. One day it could be a sunny day and the next we could have a snow storm. With the cold weather already here, many students are going to be stuck indoors doing nothing and boredom will invaded everyone’s life.

So instead of doing nothing here is a list of fun things you could do instead.

  1. Sky Zone

This is an indoor trampoline park where you can go and jump around and have fun with your friends.  It offers what they describe as a “3-D play experience”. The facility is both an amusement attraction and fitness facility, so you can have fun while getting a good work out. Online reservations are recommended.

  1. Incredible Buffet & Fun Center

This place offers plenty of indoor fun. They have laser tag, mini-bowling, mini golf, bumper cars, go karts and of course, a large arcade. There is something to do for everyone.  In addition to all the fun activities, the center also features a large all-you-can eat buffet which includes drinks and desserts.

  1. Climb Time Indy

If you’ve never tried rock climbing, this could be the time to try out something new. You should check out Climb Time Indy. The facility is for climbers of all degree of expertise from beginner to advance. There are over 4,000 different holds and the routes change weekly. They offer over 30 ropes and more than 8,500 square feet of climbing surface.

  1. Children’s Museum

The Children’s Museum will be having fun winter activities to do during the cold season. You are never too old to enjoy the exhibits of the museum but if you feel that you are you can always bring a younger sibling. There are plenty of playground equipment and on-your-feet activities that will keep visitors entertained. The first Thursday of every month, the museum opens its doors with free admission from 4 – 8 p.m. If you don’t mind the crowds, this is a great free event.
