Honors Society celebrates students
100 Ben Davis Giants Selected for National Organization
Since 1921, the National Honor Society has been recognizing students across the country who display excellence throughout the “pillars” of their lives, including scholarship, leadership, service and character.
At Ben Davis, 100 students were accepted into this prestigious organization. As a member, students are encouraged to continue to develop as a leader in our community through volunteering and continuing to push themselves to succeed.
As with any organization, there are requirements that have to be met. In order to fulfill their obligations to the organization, students must complete 15 hours of tutoring their peers. A fee of $20 is due to the bookstore by May 7 .
A ceremony recognizing the hard work and dedication of Ben Davis students will be held on Thursday, May 8 at 7:00 P.M. in the main gym.
If you were accepted into the National Honor Society, please be sure to turn in your dues, fulfill your service obligations and be sure to attend the rehearsal on May 8during ninth and tenth period.
