This game brings all the madness

For this week I am playing and reviewing Alice the Madness Returns.

It’s a twisted version of Alice in Wonderland. It’s an older (xbox 360) story mode game and because it’s so old it tends to glitch and lag a bit. I’ve been playing it for a couple weeks and for how old it is it’s only crashed twice.

I like the graphics, the story, and character design. The game incorporates characters from the movie while still having the horror twist on it. The creators made an entirely new storyline that basically says Alice is just insane.

The game switches between Wonderland and the real world multiple times throughout the course of the game. It’s quite gory and disturbing so if that’s not something you are interested in this game isn’t for you.

Over the span of the game you collect six keys. Once a key is collected you move onto the next segment of the story and setting.

Usually before you get a key there’s one or two boss fights. Overall I enjoyed this game, the graphics are older but they’re still cool.
