Tay Swizzle to Indy

The popular Taylor Swift heads to Indy Wednesday night

At the age of 14, Taylor Swift decided to pursue a music career, her main focus being country music. She quickly became the youngest songwriter ever hired by Sony/ATV Music publishing house when she signed with her one and only label Big Machines Records.

She quickly released her first self-titled album in 2006, which put her in the country music category. Her third single from that album, “Our Song,” made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Hot Country Songs chart. She also received a Best New Artist nomination at the 2008 Grammy Awards.

Taylor Swift’s music is primarily based off past relationship experiences. This works out just fine for everyone. She seems to be quite inspired and we love the music so keep it coming. Whatever she’s doing seems to be working.

Her next album, Fearless, was released in 2008 and quickly became the bestselling album in the U.S. After that album, Swift released three more Speak Now, Red, and her most recent 1989. She called 1989 her first “official” pop release.

The 1989 World Tour is well under way. This will be her fourth concert tour for supporting her albums and Taylor Swift_ oh yes, the one and only Tay Swizzle_ is coming to Indianapolis on September 16 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. She’ll be performing songs like “Bad Blood”, “Blank Space”, “Love Story”, and “Shake it Off”. She’ll also be accompanied by Vance Joy.
