The Ben Davis boys basketball season ended with a thrilling 52-49 double overtime loss to Brownsburg Saturday night in the Avon sectional final.
The Giants had three shots in the final 10 seconds that could have sent the game into a third overtime, but each shot came up a bit short. Ben Davis finishes the season 17-9 and will lose six players to graduation. Senior Mark Zackery returned to action for the first time this season in both sectional games Friday and Saturday. Zackery had been out all season recovering from an injury he suffered during football. Other seniors who ended their high school career Saturday include Tavion Williams, Kaleb Milan, Jahmir Avery, Tyron Harris, and Justin Parks.
