Indy Human Society is a shelter with dogs and cats located in Indianapolis. They have so many breeds of dogs and cats some being strays and some whose homes didn’t work out the first time but that doesn’t mean they don’t deserve a second chance.
The ages range from a few months to 10 years old some have been in there for years where some have only been there for days. They have many events partnered with other companies to help give the animals new homes. You can also donate supplies to help them help the animals feel at home.
They also have a clinic where you can get your animals vaccinated and spayed/neutered. There are too many animals mostly dogs that need a home old or young the amount of dogs there is a good possibility that one will fit your needs in your home. Because not only are dogs animals but they are a good support system they can be your friend.
Animals have feelings although the humane society has staff that cares for them and help them find the right family sooner or later.
Here are three dogs currently up for adoption:
Chief is a 9-year-old male terrier mix, he likes toys and attention but prefers a home without other pets.
Franklin is a 2-month-old male Siberian husky/mix, he has loads of energy and loves to dig and play.
Honey is a 3-year-old female terrier, American pit bull/mix, she is very sweet and likes cuddles.
These are just three of the hundreds of animals that come through the facility on a monthly basis.
