Ellen Bain, News Editor
My name is Ellen Bain, and I am a senior here at Ben Davis. I joined the newspaper during the second semester of my sophomore year and have been in the class ever since, and eventually worked my way up to become the News Editor of the Spotlight newspaper. I enjoy reading, nature, listening to music, and taking long walks. I really enjoy writing, which is one of the main reasons why I decided to get into journalism. I believe it’s important to help people, and a big way that we can do that is by bringing awareness to certain injustices or situations that need changing. In the future, I would like to continue helping by either majoring in journalism or in education. I enjoy being a part of a bigger purpose & hope to have a memorable last year in the BD Spotlight newspaper!
