Cinderella Preview

The Ben Davis Theatre department is well known for its extravagant plays that feature new and fresh talent each time. This year’s spring play will be Cinderella, a story about a young girl who is at the mercy of her evil stepmother, but despite circumstances, finds love in the most unexpected place. Cinderella will be played by sophomore, and newcomer, Emily Atwell. Peter Johnson will take on the role of the beloved Prince, while the evil stepmother, Lady Tremaine, will be played by Nesiree Dickson. Other roles include Jena Szklai as The Fairy Godmother, and Megan Brown, Mariah Rojas, and Victor Rosado as the three evil stepsisters. Many others will accompany these characters as supporting roles.

The play features the same storyline as the popular fairy tale, but also includes special flavor with added twists and turns. The cast and crew have worked extremely hard to give their audience the best performance they possibly can. They are ecstatic to show off what they have been trying months to perfect.

Cinderella will premiere 7 pm on Friday, March 9 and Saturday, March 10 with a five dollar ticket fee at the door.
